Last November 5, 2009, the lovely delegates of Miss Earth 2009 and the brilliant students of Eton International School have launched its “Eton’s Go Green Campaign”. This is in line in sharing the same advocacy of actively promoting and getting involved in the preservation of the environment and the protection of Mother Earth. The talented students of Eton presented a variety of performances including dancing, singing and even acting which surprised and touched the hearts of the delegates as they show how to protect the earth. Likewise, the delegates participated in the “Hand Print Ceremony” which symbolizes their support to the campaign of the school. While in the second part of the program, the Miss Earth delegates together with the Eton students take part in unveiling of the symbolic Eton Tree and planted some trees in the garden of the school. And in the last part of the event, Eton kids had the chance to interact and show their other talents to the lovely delegates of Miss Earth 2009. Selected students had the chance to draw and paint with the Miss Earth delegates and sign it as a remembrance for Eton as well as for the students. Time flies very fast as the students and the delegates enjoyed every bit of the Go Green Campaign activities. Those were heart-warming and worth remembering experiences both from the Eton students and the delegates of Miss Earth 2009.
